Thurlow Hill - terka acton

This serene garden was designed on the diagonal to maximise the usable space. Bespoke elements in a pared-back palette of stone, brick and wood are complemented by grasses, evergreens and hardy perennials: care was taken to preserve key mature plants from the original garden.

Before: the space was dominated by large shrubs and ivy.

A bespoke balau wood bench, designed and made by David Sorrell, frames the terrace by the brick wall.

This large ceramic pot was retrofitted with a reservoir and pump to create an elegant water feature.
