My love of gardens began with a childhood in the tropics, helping with a succession of family gardens. I was delighted to finally get hold of my own plot of London clay, and I learned a lot from that first garden. After fifteen years in publishing, I went freelance and trained as a garden designer at Capel Manor College, Regent’s Park, completing the Diploma in Garden Design in 2015. As well as designing gardens, I am a full member of the Garden Media Guild, and work as a freelance writer and editor.
I love the variety of my working life – and there is no better feeling than designing a client’s dream garden!
For me, everything starts with the client. It’s your garden, and the best design will come from your involvement in the process – and ensure that you are connected to your new space from the start.
All of my projects receive my full focus – so whether you need some design advice to help you get the best from your current garden, or want to start fresh with a redesign, you can be sure of my care and attention to detail.
How I work
I’ll work closely with you, because that’s how we’ll get the best possible results. Creating a new garden is exciting, and I want you to be involved with the process from the start. It’s vital for me to understand what you want and need from your garden, so that we can make every aspect of the garden work for you.
What I can offer
Good communication is central to the way I work. I’ll work hard to deliver the garden you want, and use my design skills to concentrate on getting the all-important details right.
